OLD STUFF:

MY SECOND SONOGRAM! I had my second sonogram done on March 9. The ultrasound technician and the radiologist both thought they saw a penis (separately). Neither could get a freeze-frame to be sure that that was indeed what they saw, but both said they were 80% sure that's what it was! I was in my 20th week at the time.

MY FIRST SONOGRAM! I had my first sonogram done on January 27. The ultrasound technician estimated that I was fifteen weeks pregnant at that time. I labeled one copy of each picture to help you make out the features of the baby, and there's an un-labeled copy next to each one because the labels and circles and arrows tend to obscure the picture.

GARDEN DOORS! We knocked out a double window in our living room and put patio doors (garden doors, they're like French doors, but with just one big pane of glass and no grill over it) onto our deck.

There are hilariously written "Blow-by-Blow Synopses" of practically every episode. They make fun of the characters, the acting the writing, and other aspects of the show as they catch you up on what happened.  Other good stuff includes hilarious top 10 lists, "5 Stages of Addiction to Melrose Place," "Memorable Melrose Quotes," and spoilers for upcoming episodes.

THE INTELLIGENT HUMOR PAGE -- www.lucifer.com\~sasha\humor\ -- I know lucifer.com sounds ominous, but this page has some of the funniest (and, yes, intelligent) jokes and other stuff I've ever seen! He has all kinds of jokes, plus lists of humorous quotes, a politically correct Red Riding Hood story, tons of computer humor in all forms, several different sets of student bloopers, and MUCH more! He also has links to a bunch of other humorous sites, such as The Dilbert Zone, LaughWeb, and Joe Lavin's Humor Column. Having a new relationship with Jesus myself, and trying to build upon it, this is one of the sites that have been very helpful for me.  There are links to complete on-line Bibles and Bible references, Bible studies and Bible study aids, Bible trivia. There are links to Christian music, television, literature, games, a clean chat room, and other entertainment. Also has listings of churches, missions, ministries, schools, all sorts of Christian owned or run businesses and shopping. I haven't even begun to list all the types of things you can get to from this site. Check it out -- everyone can find something they need here!

There are many Bible Study resources (this is the Bible site that the site above points to), and several online devotionals. This site also has movie reviews from a Christian viewpoint, Christian web design tools, and daily verses and cartoons.

FOCUS ON THE FAMILY -- www.focusonthefamily.com\ -- This organization has been so valuable to me in my learning about Jesus. One of my Christian music stations (WWEV, Victory 91.5) plays several programs of theirs, and I really liked Dr. James Dobson's program (and Adventures in Odyssey, too, hee hee, much to my husband's annoyance -- HEY! SO WHAT IF IT'S A KID'S SHOW?!), so I looked them up and found this wonderful site. It has tons of resources for Christian couples and parents that are so helpful for dealing with the everday things in family life. It also has links to the Odyssey home page (so I can keep up with any episodes I miss), and the day's Dr. Dobson program so I can listen at anytime, and it also has music reviews, including reviews of tons of popular secular albums.

RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE/"DIVERSITY TRAINING" -- www.religioustolerance.com\ -- OK, most of you know that I have not been a Christian for all that long, and that all my life I have LOVED to discuss, debate, and philosophize about religion and God. Some of you loved that about me and some of you hated it. I have always been, and still am, very fascinated by what people believe and why. Well, I learned all kinds of things from this site (much to the dismay of some people).  Every time I visit this site I get lost reading for hours! It describes/defines the basic beliefs and principles of practically every religion, cult, witchcraft, non-religion, etc., and it also delves deep into the religious and sacred writings for each to discuss the range of stances on certain controversial issues (like abortion and homosexuality) for each religion and even some subdivisions of many religions (like differences between Christian denominational sects). The site owners claim to only state facts and quote writings, and claim to be unbiased, but some people disagree. See for yourself!

MYSTICAL ATTRACTIONS -- www.facade.com\attraction\ -- Christians beware! This site has all sorts of mystical/spiritual fortune tellers, from Runes and Tarot Card readings to Bibliomancy/Stichomancy and I Ching. You can have a reading done on the web! I told you I was fascinated by all people's beliefs. But, hey, for you guys, you can play Cindy Crawford Concentration! The idea is to match identical pictures of Cindy in various poses and skimpy outfits. As the author says, what better way to hinder one's concentration (a man's, anyway) than looking at Cindy in lingerie? But when I played and finished rather quickly, I got the message, "Cindy's upset! She's pouting because it only took you 150 seconds! You didn't have any trouble concentrating!"
